BOSSDOCTORS BLUEPRINT
PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, REFUND & PROJECT DEADLINE POLICIES
These policies govern enrollment and financial participation in The BossDoctors Blueprint, " "a project produced by Minority Virtual Physicians Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization " '("MVPS"). By submitting payment and completing enrollment, the participant ("Contributor") ' "acknowledges and agrees to the following terms
PAYMENT POLICY
Payment is due at the time of enrollment to secure participation in The BossDoctors Blueprint. Space is limited, and a contributor position or chapter placement is not reserved until the applicable payment has been successfully received by MVPS or its authorized payment processor.
FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENTS
All payments are final and non-refundable. Enrollment reserves one of a limited number of contributor positions and causes MVPS and its Project partners to begin allocating editorial, administrative, production, publishing, marketing, event, and other resources. Except where otherwise required by applicable law, no refund, credit, or transfer will be provided if Contributor later chooses or becomes unable to participate.
CANCELLATION OR VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL
Contributor may cancel or withdraw from participation by providing written notice to MVPS. Cancellation or voluntary withdrawal does not relieve Contributor of amounts already paid and does not create an entitlement to a refund, credit, or transfer. A Contributor who withdraws may lose all associated Project benefits, chapter placement, promotional opportunities, and other participation rights.
PROJECT TIMELINE
MVPS will provide the official Project timeline, including submission requirements and applicable deadlines, within thirty (30) days of enrollment. Contributor is responsible for reviewing all Project communications and complying with the timeline provided.
REQUIRED DELIVERABLES AND DEADLINES
Contributor is responsible for timely submission of all materials reasonably required for participation, which may include the Contributor Agreement, biography, professional headshot, credentials, chapter manuscript, revisions, editorial approvals, publishing forms, marketing materials, interviews, and other Project deliverables. Failure to meet a required deadline may result in forfeiture of Contributor's participation and chapter placement without refund. MVPS may proceed with publication without Contributor when necessary to protect the overall production and launch schedule.
MISSED COMMUNICATIONS
Contributor is responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and monitoring email, enrollment platforms, portals, and other communication channels used by MVPS for Project communications. Failure to read or respond to a Project communication does not automatically extend a deadline or create a right to a refund.
REMOVAL FOR NONCOMPLIANCE
If Contributor is removed from the Project because of a material breach of the Contributor Agreement, failure to meet required deadlines, failure to submit required materials, material misrepresentation, knowing nondisclosure required by the Contributor Agreement, plagiarism, intellectual-property infringement, unauthorized disclosure of confidential Project information, or other material noncompliance, amounts paid remain non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.
PUBLICATION AND SCHEDULE CHANGES
Contributor understands that anticipated publication dates, launch events, vendors, production schedules, distribution plans, and promotional activities may change. Reasonable changes to the Project schedule, production process, launch activities, or distribution strategy do not create an entitlement to a refund.
FORCE MAJEURE
MVPS will not be liable for delay or failure in performance resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, hurricanes, floods, fires, severe weather, epidemics, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental actions, labor disruptions, transportation interruptions, utility or telecommunications failures, cyber incidents, technology or platform outages, printing or distribution interruptions, supply-chain disruptions, vendor failures, illness or incapacity of essential Project personnel, or similar circumstances. MVPS may reasonably extend deadlines, postpone publication, reschedule events, substitute vendors, or modify production, distribution, or launch plans. Such changes do not, by themselves, create an obligation to issue a refund.
NO GUARANTEE OF FINANCIAL OR PROMOTIONAL RESULTS
Payment for participation does not guarantee book sales, royalties, bestseller status, media coverage, speaking engagements, social-media exposure, business opportunities, clients, revenue, financial return, or any other specific commercial or professional result. Unless expressly provided in a separate written agreement executed by MVPS, Contributor will not receive royalties or a share of revenue generated from sales of the collective Book.
RELATIONSHIP TO CONTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT
These financial and deadline policies are incorporated into and should be read together with the BossDoctors Blueprint Contributing Author Agreement. If Contributor's participation is subject to additional written participation-level terms, those terms also apply. In the event of a direct conflict, the most specific written term governing the issue will control to the extent permitted by applicable law.
ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE
By checking the applicable acknowledgment box, submitting payment, or completing enrollment through an authorized Project website or platform, Contributor acknowledges that Contributor has read, understands, and agrees to these Payment, Cancellation, Refund and Project Deadline Policies. Electronic acceptance will have the same force and effect as a physical signature to the extent permitted by applicable law.
CHECKOUT ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I have read and agree to the BossDoctors Blueprint Payment, Cancellation, Refund and Project Deadline Policies. I understand that all payments are final and non-refundable, that the official Project timeline will be provided within 30 days of enrollment, and that failure to meet required Project deadlines may result in forfeiture of my participation and all amounts paid.
